Terms of Service (AJM Counselling)

Effective date: 19/09/2025
These Terms govern your use of AJM Counselling services and pages at toeknee.com.

1) Who we are

AJM Counselling delivered by Anthony Miller. Contact: [email protected].

2) Our service

We provide confidential, trauma-informed counselling via telehealth (Zoom/Google Meet/Phone) and an intake/triage chatbot. We do not provide emergency services.

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (AU 000 / VN 113 or 115 HK 999 or 112).

3) Eligibility

You must be 16+ or have parent/guardian or school consent (where applicable). You must have capacity to participate and reside in a location where telehealth counselling is permitted.

4) Appointments, cancellations, and no-shows

Sessions are typically 50 minutes.

You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before the start time without charge.

Late cancellations/no-shows may be billed up to the full session fee.

We may reschedule in rare circumstances (e.g., illness, network outage).

5) Fees and payment

Fees are advised before booking and are in AUD unless stated otherwise. Invoices/receipts are provided. Any refunds follow the cancellation policy above and applicable consumer laws.

6) Telehealth consent & limitations

Telehealth can have technical issues and isn’t suitable for all concerns. If we judge your needs require a different service (e.g., crisis, specialised care), we’ll help with a referral where possible.

7) Confidentiality & its limits

We keep your information private except where:

there’s risk of serious harm to you or others,

child/vulnerable-person safety concerns arise, or

we are legally compelled to disclose.
We maintain appropriate records to support safe, continuous care.

8) Use of AI and digital tools

Our intake assistant helps with admin and triage; it does not diagnose or replace human care. Your information may flow through trusted processors (e.g., GoHighLevel/LeadConnector, Zoom/Google). See the Privacy Policy for details.

9) Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information, use the service respectfully, ensure a private space for sessions, and follow safety guidance. Do not misuse booking/chat tools or share harmful content.

10) No emergency or medical advice

We are not an emergency, medical, or legal service. We provide counselling support and education only. Outcomes can vary and are not guaranteed.

11) Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-supply of services or the cost of doing so. Nothing limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

12) Intellectual property

Content we provide (worksheets, resources, website text) remains our IP. You may use it for personal purposes only unless we agree otherwise in writing.

13) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
